It all started with a teenage passion for motocross. Riding on the dirt is fun. Getting the garage bill: a bit less. That's how I got into mechanics, all the way to restoring my first bikes in high school.

But one problem kept coming back: finding quality parts at a reasonable price. Quality often means steering clear of aftermarket. Steering clear of aftermarket also means facing the sometimes crazy prices of new OEM parts. That leaves one option: a genuine used part. And that's where it gets hard. Finding exactly the part you're looking for, for the right bike, while being sure of the fit and the condition… was sometimes mission impossible. Hours spent trawling site after site, listings often incomplete, and sometimes no real idea of what would show up.

That's the observation MX Vintage Parts was born from. I started it at 18, in 2020, with a simple idea: make it possible to find the right part for the right bike, with a listing that's clear, precise and carefully written. That adventure eventually led me to a mechanical engineering degree.

Today I put those skills at the service of people who, like me, want to keep exceptional machines running — bikes that deserve many more years on our trails and tracks. MX Vintage Parts is now my everyday: strip, sort, identify, check and ship the right part. All of it while gradually building a small team of AI agents to help behind the scenes… who, thankfully, still leave me the job of chief impact-wrench officer. For how much longer?

Jarvis - Right hand & systems architect

The digital brain of MX Vintage Parts. He builds the internal tools, evolves the site and coordinates the whole AI agent team so each one knows exactly what to do. In short, when something gets automated around here, he’s usually not far.

Atlas - Workshop & stock intake lead

Every part starts its journey with him. Photos, logging, storage and location: Atlas makes sure everything enters stock properly before it reaches the other agents. Because a part you can’t find is almost like a part you never had.

Sherlock - Identification & quality expert

His specialty: knowing exactly what’s in front of him. Make, model, compatible years, OEM number and condition: Sherlock cross-checks the facts to avoid nasty surprises. Elementary.

Mercure - Listings lead

Once a part is identified, Mercure puts it in the shop window. He prepares titles, descriptions, fitment info and prices so each part can be found easily by the person who needs it.

Iris - Sales & shipping lead

When a part sells, Iris takes over. She finds where it’s stored, gathers the order details and gets everything ready for shipping. Her goal: the right part going to the right place, without the headache.

Radar - Parcel tracking lead

From the moment a parcel leaves the workshop, Radar keeps an eye on it. He follows it through to delivery and spots a problem quickly if one comes up. Fair enough for someone named Radar.

Boomerang - Returns lead

Sometimes a part comes back to sender. Boomerang then handles the return, gathers the details and decides whether the part can go back into stock. He’d rather parcels didn’t come back, but he was always going to end up in this job.

Anne - Accountant

While the others talk bikes, OEM numbers and parcels, Anne keeps an eye on the numbers. Revenue, costs, bookkeeping and filings: she makes sure MX Vintage Parts is as tidy in the accounts as it is in the workshop.
